Laurel St. Romain journeys back to postpartum when her daughter had to be in the NICU for three months.

After learning about an unexpected pregnancy, Laurel enjoyed months of a really easy pregnancy. Then due to a concern about her premature babies health she was induced to deliver her baby. Upon delivery, Laurel shares with us the moments after birth when she didn't get to see, feel or hold her baby until almost 24 hours later. She tells us about the hardships and challenges and also the love she experienced from the community within the NICU and her community of friends and family. Listen and learn from Laurel, as she watched her baby heal and grow in a NYC NICU. Journey with Laurel as she found her voice and her mothers instincts amidst the chaos of the lights, activity and noise of this unique intensive care unit.
