Alyssa Padial, PT, speaks to Gynocurious about her work as a physical therapist. She speaks to the need for a full evaluation of the human body to understand particular challenges like pelvic pain, obstetrical changes to the body, and the challenges of our modern world with computer use and phone use. Alyssa speaks to the varied changes in the body that can be related to or the causes for injury and mobility issues.

lAlyssa teaches us about length in order to have strength; the need for flexibility and strength in a healthy body.

This episode, Finding our Perfect Balance, includes a discussion about finding our confidence and capacity to address all aspects of our lives; to stand upright and avoiding falling not only physically but emotionally. In utilizing our somatosensory system, visual and vestibular systems we walk through our lives with balance until an injury or aging impacts these systems. We need to recruit all aspects of our body's balancing apparatus to live fully and engaged in the world around us.
